What running clothing do I wear in 60 degree morning DC weather?

Hi there,
Thanks for your question about running clothes.

What running clothing to wear is a highly personal choice.

I like to go out as much as possible in running shorts and a running shirt.

At 60 degrees I would go out just in those.

Of course you are welcome to choose whichever apparel you want to, e.g. if it's a bit cold for you, you could opt for a pair of tights or a long sleeve shirt.

Keep in mind that after only five minutes of easy running your body will warm up. Even when it is quite a bit colder than 60 degrees I would go out in just short-sleeve shirt and shorts.

After a few initial cold minutes I'd be warm enough for the rest of the workout.

Great advice

This is great advice regarding clothing to wear during active events. As a jogger myself here in Texas, I tend to wear short sleeves and shorts nearly all year. No matter how cold it gets (except in really cold weather), you can get away with this advice.
