Tips for Running

I want to run 1600 mts in 7 min so give me the best running tips for preparing..............?

Hi Mohit,
Thanks for your request for some running tips.

It would have been better if you had provided me with a few details about yourself. Current fitness, how far off you are from your goal, how much mileage you do, etc.



It's only then that I give some more targeted advice. For a fast mile / 1,600m you need the following basic building blocks:

  • Base Running


  • Tempo Running


  • Interval Running


  • I would suggest going over to my Running Training section and going through those articles one by one.



    It will teach you a lot about running, about what to do and what not to do.

    I hope these running tips provide you with a starting point.
