starting out w/ my running foot stuck in my mouth

story of a 13 year old beginner

-there's something about a couple miles that sings to me; but then my mom having to follow me in the car cuz she doesn't want me running alone puts a damper on things....

-the treadmill sucks, especially when other fellow gym members find it strange that a 13 year old girl comes in at 6 am before school and runs a couple miles. they give me maybe she's crazy looks daily...

-when i heard the track coach was replaced and i could finally attend junior high track i screamed so loud my throat hurt...

-and then i suffered a couple practices what is it with these people and sprinting? I see nothing wrong with a couple miles at a good 5k pace and hate one short mile at race pace- i've learned something about sprinters: my theory is that they r just like greyhounds; all speed 0 endurance

-conclusion: ILL HAVE TO MAKE DO WITH THE 2400 till i get to high school and get to do cross country!
