Heart Rate Monitors An almost essential part of your running gear is a heart rate monitor. And let's face it, it's a pretty neat tool to help you stick to the right pace. Hydration Options Drinking during the run, especially the longer ones, is vital. You have got a range of different hydration options. A bottle in the hand is a bit inconvenient. Well, that's what I think, in races I see plenty of runners using one. A CamelPak (see middle picture) is a bit better, although I prefer a fuelbelt (right hand side picture). The big advantage of the fuelbelt is that the weight of the drinks is evenly distributed around the body. This makes carrying a fuelbelt effortless.

Running Holders When you are listening to music or need to take your keys, some spare change or your I.D. with you on the run, the last thing you want to do is carry it around in your hand. Luckily there are some options available to you to prevent that.

Running Gloves for Men | Running Gloves for Women During the colder months your hands might need some extra protection. Regular non-running gloves will make your hands sweat quickly. Very annoying. During your run you will constantly find yourself taking your gloves off and then putting them back on again. The small investment in some specialized running gloves might make the difference you need.

Headwear / Caps for Summer and Winter
During the cold winter months, some extra protection for your ears and head is very welcome. Especially if you have got a head like me (no hair on it!).
And in the summer months a good running cap can help you protect your head and face from the scorching sun.
Running Sunglasses Running sunglasses are another necessity if you are dealing with the sun, whether it is in winter or summer! Make sure you go for a UV-protection-option. Read the article to find out why you need running sunglasses as well and what features are necessary when shopping for running sunglasses.
Running Strollers Baby on the way and you want to stay fit ? Then have a think about a running stroller. A good investment if you are committed to your health. Twins on the way ? No problem, pretty much every brand has got a double stroller on offer as well !
Running Bags
When you start doing races or need to lug your running apparel and running gear around, you may want to have a look into a running bag. There are too many options available to mention. The running bag page reviews a number of bags and shows you plenty of running bags to choose from.
