Runner's World

Runner's World is probably the most well known running magazine.

It is hugely popular, contains many running tips and provides inspiration to many.

With a unique feel for passion that is felt by beginners and experienced runners alike, the prime focus is directed towards motivating the active minded to start running, maintain their running goals, and get a feel for the helpful basics of running in a safe manner.

Runner's World - Full of Running Tips

runners worldRunner's World is owned by the same parent company that publishes the more professional oriented Running Times Magazine and reaches hundreds of thousands of readers on a monthly basis.

The magazine is home to a tremendous amount of information including tips on:

  • Safety advice on running in different seasons.

  • Announcements of future races all over the country.

  • How to devise training plans.

  • Tips and info on losing weight through running.

  • Proper steps on how to begin running for exercise and hobby.

  • Motivational advice on how to stick with running for the long term.

  • Recipes and dietary advice to help get the most out of your running ventures.

  • Those that are just starting out as a runner will find that Runner's World is a tremendous resource that is loaded with excellent information and motivation tales that will keep you interested in your new hobby.

Runner's World - Comparison to Running Times Magazine

The material is also presented in a much less complex and intimidating method that what you would find in Runner's Times Magazine.

The format of the magazine is simple and basic. You can read through it and get a great feel for the info presented within its pages. Readers can access an article, interview, or QA section with talented runners.

From this, you can learn new things that will make you interested in making running a major component of your daily activities. You would also learn the top techniques needed to get the most out of your running excursions.

Despite the focus on beginner running routines, Runner's World offers more in depth articles designed to reach the most serious runners as well as those interested in competitive racing.

Runner's World - Clear and Understandable

As always, the articles are written in a manner and style that is clear understandable and accessible. Those that are new to the hobby and not yet deeply serious about it will find the easy to read info to be very valuable.

The info will set the stage for learning how to increase speed and time in your training sessions. As such, if you opt to be a competitive runner, you will have a decided edge.

As soon as you open the pages to this magazine and begin reading, you will gain a clear sense of inspiration. Such pages will clearly pass on the passion of running. This passion will be clearly felt by those reading the articles.

Such articles can motivate the reader into dropping the magazine, putting on a pair of running shoes, and heading out on the road. Those that fit into the following categories will definitely benefit from reading Runner's World:

  • I want to pick up the hobby of running again.

  • I want to discover how to run in a safer manner.

  • I have a number of beginner level running questions.

  • I am interested in learning where all the competitive races are.

  • I have limited knowledge on running and wish to learn more.

  • I want to use running as a prime means of losing weight.

  • I see runners taking part in their hobby and I wish I could join them.

  • Contrary to what some may assume, Runner's World is not an inferior publication to the more serious natured Running Times Magazine. Rather, Runner's World maintains a much different focus and can provide excellent supplementary reading to Running Times.

Those that are deeply serious about running will find both magazines appealing. They provide different forms of info and all the info in their pages will prove to be helpful to anyone wishing to learn more about running and becoming avid with the hobby.

Additionally, Running Times Magazine will provide a significant amount of technical info that will aid in making your running sessions more enjoyable and fruitful.

Such info can certainly motivate runners to keep going.

Personally, I enjoy Running Times more because it contains much more targeted training advice which can prove very valuable.

But, I am a huge fan of Runner's World since it is a valuable publication as well.

Basically, I just enjoy reading about the subject of running! The tales of runners come with many inspiring components. Both magazines are a must for the serious runner which is why I recommend them both wholeheartedly!
