What Have I
Been Up To?
================= Well, not a lot has changed since last time. I
am still building my base, preparing for a June marathon. So working on doing easy runs, long runs,
steady state runs and tempo runs only.
So you see, that's basically four different types of workouts in the "boring" base building period. Running slow doesn't have to be boring, you just need to know how to do it!
For some variety I have entered a 28k trail run that's on in
mid-January. That's in Australian summer. Nothing like a 40+ C / 100+ F day to run on a hilly trail!
Unfortunately the race is over-subscribed, but I have good hopes that enough people will pull out, so I can join in the fun.
If you celebrate it, happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your time with family and/or friends.
