Best Running Tips Newsletter, Issue #004 -- Boost Your Endurance and Holiday Running Gift Ideas

December 10, 2006

Hi

Welcome to the Best Running Tips Newsletter.

Running when it's 38 degrees Celsius / 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside is always, ahem, interesting.

Seeing Santa in shorts is different as well.

Yep, the holiday season is definitely something else on this side of the globe!

In this last Best Running Tips Newsletter of 2006 I have got the usual tips, updates, new pages et cetera for you, but I have also found you some Running Gift Ideas.

Finding gifts is hard enough as it is, so I hope to be providing you with a bit of help. Nothing like a running gift for yourself or the runner in your life to boost the motivation.

Some of the suppliers I selected have pretty good deals at this time of year, so make sure you check them out.

And have you got a friend or family member in dire need of some exercise ? Give the Gift of Health and send them to My Beginner Running Tips and help them start off 2007 the right way !

HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS

Gift Idea #1
Why don't you give away a pair of running shoes to someone who needs to start running? See the Running Shoes page for reviews of all the brands.

Gift Idea #2
With a great running book you can never go wrong. Check out my running book section.

Gift Idea #3
Get someone a great heart rate monitor or GPS running watch. Or ask one yourself... ;)
Check out the following pages:

RUNNING TIP OF THE MONTH : Build Endurance the Easy Way

There are these almost magical foods and drinks which seem to be good for anything.

Take fish oil for example. Good for the heart, prevents cancer, helps concentration et cetera.

Same can be said about green tea. Recent research has shown that drinking green tea a few times daily for four weeks in a row will boost your endurance with 8 to 10 percent !

So now you can build your endurance the easy way. Have a cuppa and relax!

Good to know for your next key race.
